Heterocyclic Chemistry

Heterocyclic Chemistry meetings have quite a history having initially begun in 1974 only in Western Areas where French was spoken. The even has now developed to a European wide calendar date organized every two years. And I thought taking online guitar lessons was hard until I discovered this! All aspects of heterocyclic chemistry are covered from the viewpoints of a variety of experts with special focus on novel methods in heterocyclic synthesis and the application of heterocycles in medicinal chemistry, agrochemistry, sustainable chemistry, and materials.

Feedback is always considered highly valuable by the event organizers as this helps to improve the conference each time it comes around. Often the attendees will be able to leave their comments and suggestions for review and discussion by the organizers once it’s over. Indicate what you liked and what you didn’t like about the meeting and hopefully each successive meeting will improve and get better.

  • How was the website?
  • Was it easy to get your paper submitted and reviewed?
  • Did you find the registration process easy or difficult, was it clear?
  • How about the location? Did you find getting to and from the event to be problematic or were the transportation services good?
  • What did you think about the quality of the scientific lectures? And what about the expert speakers on hand, were they there to answer your questions after the presentation? Did you find them approachable?
  • When you first arrived there was a welcome mixer organized. How did it strike you? Was it a good way for people to do some informal networking before the even got underway the next morning? Was there anything you would have changed about it?
  • Were the printed manuals and course books of a high quality?
  • The time schedules for the lectures were set to provide the maximum amount of flexibility, how did you find them?
